eCD Roles
eCD Discloser
All benefits-eligible employees are automatically assigned an eCD Discloser role. This allows you to file your annual disclosures and update your disclosures through the year. In addition, non-benefit eligible employees may be given a Discloser role if their responsibilities to Northeastern require disclosure of actual or potential conflicts of interest or commitments, for example, if they are responsible for the design, conduct or reporting of research or sponsored program activities or designated by a UCO. You may also request an eCD Disclosure role by contacting the NU-RES Help Center.
eCD Power User
The role allows the member of the Compliance Office to build and manage the disclosure cycles in the system.
eCD UCO Reviewer
The University Compliance Officer role allows members of Northeastern’s Compliance Department to review and manage individual disclosures.
eCD NU-RES Reviewer
The role allows members of NU-RES to review and manage those disclosures of faculty, staff, and students who are responsible for the design, conduct, and reporting of research.
eCD Designated Official (DO)
The role allows specific members of colleges to review any disclosure in eCD for their college, usually at the request of the Compliance Office.
