Research Services Survey

NU-RES has conducted surveys of faculty and college research administrators in the recent past, and we need your continued feedback. The surveys were designed to help identify how NU-RES and Research Development can better support faculty research and sponsored programs throughout the proposal-award life cycle.

Now with our colleagues from other offices that support the research enterprise under Provost Madigan, we hope to learn from you about your engagement with these offices, particularly over the last year.

While college and departmental research administrators also provide valued pre-award and post-award support to faculty, the current survey seeks to learn about your experiences with the research support offices that report to the Provost.

The offices include:  Research Development, NU-RES, Human Subject Research Protection (HSRP), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Office of Academic Research Safety (OARS), Research Computing, and Center for Research Innovation.

Participation in the survey helps us track our progress in meeting your needs, modify process improvement priorities and inform future outreach efforts. The survey has been directly distributed to Research Faculty with Active awards and the grant administration user community.

We will be reviewing the survey results for improvements to our processes.

If you have questions about the survey, please email [email protected].

Thank you very much for your participation in our survey – and especially for your continued support.
