Session Description:
The session examines the emotion work of being a researcher and presents strategies to prevent and mitigate its impacts. Emotion work is done in quantitative and qualitative interviewing. It is important for all researchers to understand the emotion work and toll of sensitive/traumatic research. The skills and tools addressed here can be utilized by all researchers.
